Forest School provision is becoming increasingly common across schools throughout the UK and Ireland. However, I often observe that, for various reasons, the principles, standards and pedagogy of Forest School become diluted during implementation. What remains may look impressive on paper, but much of its real purpose and effectiveness is lost.

We have the people, the experience and the opportunity. So let's be pioneers. Let's build something worth learning from, something worth sharing, and let's write the book on how we did it.
